Sedation Dentistry

Imagine not being afraid to go to the dentist. What if you could get all of your dental care done in as little as one appointment. This is what Sedation Dentistry can do for you. You will be able to smile with confidence and chew without pain. Sedation Dentistry can change your life!

We are here to answer any questions you may have about our Sedation options. We offer IV Sedation for your comfort and convenience. Its a great way to have your dentistry done in less time and with no recollection of having anything done.

Patients with dental phobia, low pain tolerance, major dental treatment, physical handicaps or strong gag reflexes may require sedation or may choose it as an option to lessen any discomfort or anxiety. Procedures like fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, cosmetic procedures and periodontal treatments can be done while sedated.

Sedation is endorsed by the American Dental Association and is an effective way to make our patients comfortable during their dental visit. Before using a sedative or anesthetic, it is important to tell your dentist about any medications or medical treatments you are receiving. Before administering any sedative or anesthetic, Dr Windham will talk to you about the process of sedation and pre-and post-sedation instructions.
